Real Time Dynamic Simulation of Power System Using Multiple Microcomputers
Recent developments in the design and manufacture of microcomputers together with improved simulation techniques make it possible to achieve the speed and accuracy required for the dynamic simulation of power systems in real time. This paper presents some experimental results and outlines new ideas on hardware architecture, mathematical algorithms and software development for this purpose. The ...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Experimental System for Real-Time Motion Estimation
Motion can be a useful sensory dimension for autonomous navigation if it is mailable in real time. In this paper we present our approach to real time motion processing giving an outline of the algorithm and hardware architecture we have developed. We then describe in more detail how this architecture is being implemented using FPGA technology.
متن کاملDosimetric investigation of lung tumor motion compensation with a robotic respiratory tracking system: an experimental study.
The benefits of using Synchrony Respiratory Tracking System (RTS) in conjunction with the CyberKnife robotic treatment device to treat a "breathing tumor" in an anthropomorphic, tissue-equivalent, thoracic phantom have been investigated. The following have been studied: (a) Synchrony's ability to allow the CyberKnife to deliver accurately a planned dose distribution to the free-breathing phanto...
متن کاملReal-Time 3D Tracking of Articulated Tools for Robotic Surgery
In robotic surgery, tool tracking is important for providing safe tool-tissue interaction and facilitating surgical skills assessment. Despite recent advances in tool tracking, existing approaches are faced with major difficulties in real-time tracking of articulated tools. Most algorithms are tailored for offline processing with pre-recorded videos. In this paper, we propose a real-time 3D tra...
